The roles demanded of a woman of this era are delightfully toxic.
Khalela, a beautiful Mossad agent, is a character in R.J. Pineiro’s 1995 techno-thriller novel “Retribution.” Her character is that of strength and grace, brute and elegance, compassion and anger. She was a woman ahead of her time.
I am deeply inspired by her character that I chose to adopt her name for this weblog.
The roles of a woman in these modern and troubled times (i.e. a mother, a daughter, a sister, a friend, a local government employee) are delightfully toxic. It can be as rewarding as a hamster on a wheel. The demands of these roles can wear us out like too little butter on too much bread.
Regardless of the ordeal there are triumphs; Despite the aches and pains there are beautiful memories worth preserving. Such are among the reasons in keeping this blog.
